The Verse is a whole new media destination for those who are grown and already know things. We were tasked with pushing The Verse’s BS-free brand identity into the print, marketing, web, and apparel spheres. Our work features bold and unexpected designs with an editorial twist.

The Solve:
As a part of an extensive brand launch, I was responsible for developing the creation of customized creative assets like website and bi-monthly email newsletter designs, social media visuals, and apparel. I was inspired by The Verse's bold and dynamic brand identity as a guide, which resulted in designs that perfectly captured The Verse's distinct vibe and message for their launch.
Insta Creative Direction
My goal for The Verse's Instagram was a bold and grown AF approach, capturing empowerment, tongue-in-cheek humor and authenticity with carefully chosen, vibrant images. "Isms" posts were designed with eye-catching typography and complementary colors, aligning with the brand's identity. The result is a visually cohesive feed that exudes The Verse's BS-free lifestyle brand.
Bi-Monthly Email Newsletter Design
In collaboration with an email marketing specialist, we developed the most effective method to create an appealing email design that could be produced quickly. As these newsletters were planned to be released bi-monthly, we needed to create a design that was flexible enough to be adjusted as necessary, while also maintaining a high editorial appearance that remained true to The Verse's branding.
Apparel Design
The creation of these simple yet fun wearables was driven by a desire to deliver a unique gifting experience for The Verse's brand launch IRL. Careful attention was given to typography, copy, and color combinations to ensure that this hoodie and long sleeve contributed to a memorable experience.
Holiday Gift Guide
For The Verse's inaugural holiday issue, I created a digital guide featuring bold color blocking and expressive typography that stayed true to the brand. We delivered it as a digital download for the 2019 holiday email campaign.

We animated the founder’s handwriting to create a fun splash page—teasing the launch of The Verse’s website.
